| | My hip killed after yesterday's run, so I decided to do less today, but I'm not even sure running at all was such a hot idea.

| | Cross trained today to give my hip a rest. I biked and ellipticaled... (Hah, Is that even a word?)

| | On our way to Footlocker we stopped in Mesquite to run. We ran on this cool path and saw a super fat pig and a peacock (which Jamie forbid Sami to pull a feather out of). We ended up running on this super sandy little trail thing too which I really regretted cuz by the time I got back I had a mountain of sand in my shoes. But it was way pretty!

| | Ran the Footlocker course. It is crazy. Even running it slow really strained my hip tho so that was no bueno.

Well the Footlocker course was an absolute beast, but I'm glad I did it. Honestly not sure what my time was exactly but I felt like I worked hard. Talked to this really cool girl who ran in my race from Hawaii after so that was fun. I was super glad that during the race my hip didn't hurt too bad. It only started to really bug up the last big hill. Before the race I did a half mile warm up and after I did just a mile to cool down. Didn't want to push it. After the race the team went to the beach and we had a pretty dang good time IMHO. I'm kinda sad that the season is officially over and that I won't be running with some of my favorite people next year, but I'm super proud of our whole team and I know track will be great!
Also huge shoutout to Connor for qualifying for Footlocker Nationals! I will totally be cheering him on from the ski slopes ;)

| | Today was the first day in like 3 weeks that I've run over 2.5 miles. It felt both good and... Not so good ;) I was way glad that Gan came with me because she helped me get through the first few miles until I started feeling good. I'm sure it would have felt better if it wasn't so COLD!! Totally worth it though cuz it felt so good to run. I love lifting and biking and all (welllllll not really) but it really doesn't keep me in shape and feeling as good as running :)

| | A word of advice: don't run when you have a sinus infection. It does not make it any better... In fact, at some points you sorta feel like passing out. No but serious, it was not a fun run. Especially because it was late and on a treadmill. But at least I got it in. Probably gonna take a day off tomorrow...

| | Ran 3/4 of low with Gan, not feeling great cuz I've been pretty sick. After we went and lifted upper body and did abs.
